A Wymount Christmas - 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas this year in our little apartment in Wymount on BYU Campus.  Despite the lack of bench space, Elaine and her wonderful helpers (Emily, Alice, Rachel and Emma) put on a delicious and plentiful Christmas Dinner.  Highlights were the ham from Wholefoods, hand made Fruit Mince Pies and Trifle.  We had so much food and had a great time wearing Christmas hats, playing games and lots of fun (despite the lack of snow).  We're so grateful we had some family visitors all the way from Australia who made it a very memorable Christmas for us...  Here are some pics..

Some Christmas Eve shopping for the Rogers girls and Emma, matching Converse shoes..
We stopped by the Temple on the way home from Church for this ice Christmas Picture
Fulfilling a dream, Christmas eve dinner at Denny's
Santa was good to us this year!

The action about to begin...

Sarah's much anticipated 'Heeleys'
You should see her go!
The BYU gifts to match!
Delicious Fruit Mince Pies made by Elaine..

Dad even made a trifle... (with home made custard courtesy of Alice)

What is Christmas without a Pavlova..?

We even bought a little gift for our apartment.  This great clock with 'Families are Forever' on it at Deseret bookstore for just $29.99
Bon Bons all round too..

I made the Jello Salad as well...
Mum's layered salad is always a favourite..

After laying around recovering, we went out bowling on Boxing day and had lots of fun!
