CES 2012

I had a great opportunity with the MBA Tech Society to attend the biggest consumer electronics trade show in the world - CES in Las Vegas in mid January.  It was incredible and is attended by hundreds of thousands of professionals from around the world.  On top of gaining insights into trends and developments in the technology industry we had a great time getting know the other MBA students and enjoying the sights in Vegas.
People always want to take a photo of me in front of Australian things, like this Kangaroo:)

The LG and Samsung areas were massive and always crowded.  Themes were definitely 3D and thin OLED TV's

ESPN 3D had a live pro boxing match that we could watch in 3D and in real person.

how's this for a thin TV!

'Glasses-Free' 3D is here but should be more attractive in the next few years.

These were some really cool 3D printers.  amazing to see them create an object from a computer file.

The wolds best consumer grade digital projector by Sony.

There was a huge auto section showing how technology is being integrated into cars.

Always lots of fancy hotels and light shows in Vegas!
